Lindi Mamashela

A South African businesswoman with approximately 22 years in the Aviation industry and business. She was the first female Manager of South African Airways Flight Operations department. After various promotions within SAA she proceeded to manage other strategic departments of the airline as an executive in Government relations, Voyager loyalty Programme and the Flight crew training department.

 

She became a shareholder and partner at Global Aviation Airways, which is a charter company that specialises in aircraft leasing and charters.

 

Mamashela is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Connoisseur wines. A wine company that formed partnerships with strategic wine farms to serve the South African markets and globally. She saw a niche in the wine market and decided to capitalise on it. Lindi is a Director of Hyde Park supply services, which is in partnership with Norman Goodfellows.

 

Mamashela began her working career with Webber Wentzel Attorneys. She used her International Relations and business training as a springboard into business, however her scope of influence spans in different industries. Lindi is a member of the Institute of Directors SA. A company that represents directors and professionals charged with governance duties in their individual capacities in Southern Africa. Mamashela holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, various Aviation and business qualifications.

 

Lindi is a founding member of Women in Aviation and Logistics Pty Ltd, she brings to the leadership team a wealth of vast experience in the Aviation Sector. She is excited by the potential women have in increasing their role in this sector.
